Post subject: Question about mulitple Citibank cards

I just got approved for both the MTVu card and Diamond Preferred Amex from Citibank. I was wondering if anyone could answer a few quetsions about Citi for me, since I have had no experience with them before:

1. Will they let you combine all the points you earn for the Thank You network on both cards, or can you only redeem them individually?

2. Does anyone know how Citi is with CLI requests? How long do you have to wait, and if you have multiple cards will that stop you from getting an increase on one? How about letting you allocate some of the limit from one to the other?

Any help from you longtime Citi gurus is greatly appreciated! I think I’m going to be a Citi guy for a while!

Yes, you can combine your Thank You Network Points. (You can even add a checking account to earn points even faster!)

You will have a CLI button on your account page. You can request a CLI after the six month mark. You should get a response within 5-7 buisness days.

Post subject: Citibank Credit Card Review

After a while, you’ll get two “Thank You Member Numbers”. Pick one of them and login with it. Attach BOTH of your card accounts to it.

After that, as long as the points successfully flush out of the card (PremierPass and Driver’s Edge have confusing rules), then they’ll all comingle in your TY account, and you can then buy a pony.
