First let you tell me a bit about my self I just turned 18 and i want to establish credit so i have been looking into credit cards my i am a highschool studen and i make around $8000 a year i am really responsible with my money so i have no worrys about spending habits with a credit card i applied at my bank td canada trust for a card but was denied becuase most of them require you have a min income of 15000 so i came across the capital one credit card i applied and was approved. I have to send them $200 then they will send me the card. I have a question about this how much will my limit be becuase they never said that in the letter and it also says that u will be charged $59 annaul fee and Additional monthly statement copy fee: $3; Transaction copy fee: $2; i was wondering if u could get them to not send the bill and just do it online from the website and anyone who has there card any information about this card would be greatful thanks so much

A 59 dollar annu fee seems a liitle high to me for a secured card. Try orchard to see if t&cs are more favorable

The parent company is HSBC and I believe that they have an online credit card selector. Put inyour info and it will recommend a card.

I'd recommend applying for an unsecured "student" card, especially if you can get your folks to cosign for it.
