Credit Tips: Bank of America Secured Credit Card Review

Post subject: Bank of America Secured Card

Does anyone have the B of A Secured Credit Card? Has anyone had a secured B of A switch to an unsecured? When I initially opened it, they said they would review for a switch to unsecured at 6 months (which seemed very quick to me). I am wondering if anyone has had one switch over to unsecured that quickly (or ever) and what the criteria was.

My first credit card was BoA secured Visa. It became unsecure 11 months later after I increased my limit to $8500 to make it platinum. The minimum deposit for platinum then was $5000.
