Kind of looks like a rebranded mbna rewards card but has anyone tried applying for it? Its advertised on the boa website with a 50 dollar statement credit.

I was going to BUT it is a clear card and I do not like clear cards - icky icky.
What BOA needs is a 5% back on gas card of they really want a spike in applications.
IMHO of course.

That is a pretty slick looking card. I wouldn't mind having that in my wallet. I made a deal with my wife though, no new apps until Christmas at least.

I like the design too - just not the clear card its on.
I also have a citi amex so - there is really no incentive for me to get the boa. AND the citi amex had a 100 dollar credit as incentive - not the 50 bux boa is offering.

I think it's a much better design than most of BOAs cards.
I may try to convert my Platiunum Visa to this card. I'm waiting a few months to see what they'll be offering after the merger is complete since I have a MBNA too.
