Post subject: Bank of America Platinum "Priority" Visa?
I just realized that the CC I have from BOA is called a Platinum Priority Visa. It's listed like that when I log in to my accounts page. I wanted to see what the difference is between my "Priority" Visa and their regular Platinum Visa, but I hit a dead end.
I searched everywhere for it on their website and the closest thing I could find was a Platinum Priority Check Card, but mine is a Credit Card. I finally called customer service and they were very baffled and said they could not find any card at all in their database with the word "Priority", even though they acknowledged that is clearly what my card is.
After about 30 minutes the woman (who was very nice and genuinely trying to help answer my question) said that the supervisor told her that my card has all the features and benefits of their regular Platinum Visa, and they just have no clue how or why the word "Priority" is on my account.
I just wondered, does anyone else have this card with BOA? Am I the only one who has this thing, or just the only one who ever asked them about it?

My BA Plat card also shows up as "Platinum Priority VISA". Maybe that's what they assign as a title for $10K+ lines (mine is now $20K+). Maybe not (orig line was $6.5K).
In any case, card is std Plat card and benefit pamphlet was one for Plat card -- no upgrade. You can rest peacefully

No, there are no points or any rewards associated with the card. I guess it could be regarding the limit, mine is 15k, but it did start out around 8k when I got it 4 years ago. Someone else told me that it might have something to do with dedicated customer service for "priority" cardholders, but I don't think so, since I still have to call the same number as everyone else, and still wait 10 minutes to get a human.
Just funny that the BOA reps don't even know what it means!
And I know what you mean about the CLI... I have been trying for 2 years to get the card over 15k but they won't do it. I just pushed the LUV button a few days ago, and it was declined. Waiting for the letter to see what reason they are going to give.
