Post subject: Credit card offers with 0% APR plus an amount cash reward

The credit card companies must be getting desperate. I received two offers last week that offered a cash reward. One from Citibank with 0% APR and $100 gift card, another from AMEX with $50 gift card. Has anybody taken them up on an offer like that?

Sure. I take 'em up on offers like that every chance I get. Why wouldn't I? Why wouldn't you?

Discover 0% for 15 months on purchases and 0% for life on bt's with $20 cashback. Does Discover give the 0% for life bt offer to existing cardholders. I don't have a discover card and I want one, but I don't have a balance to transfer right now, and would like to take advantage of that offer sometime in the future.

One of my coworkers got the 0% for life on a retention offer when closing an existing card, but she didnt take it. They probably targeted her though since she carries a balance.
