Post subject: Citibank Dividend ... how long in the mail?
Does anyone know where Citibank mails the actual card from? I got approved today and wondered how long it would take to reach me by mail.

Mine took almost a month. I was instantly approved online but a couple of weeks later I got a letter that they wanted to verify my address so I had to send them a utility bill. I found it ironic that they sent me a letter to an address they supposedly couldn't verify was mine.
Anyway I sent in the electric bill and got my card a week or two later. My sister had the same experience when she applied for the card. I don't know if that is standard procedure for them for new accounts or what. It was by far the longest I've ever had to wait for a card. I just got a second card from them a couple of months ago though and that one arrived with no trouble after 10 days or so.

oh, man! I did have to do the bill verification thing, too. They had a point, though. I had just moved there about two months ago and didn't actually have any utility bills for a while. It took signing up and then another forever to get the copy of the bill over to them. Maybe you should prepare those documents and set them aside just in case! Definitely the longest I had to wait for any card (I sent them the info they asked for at the tail end of the 30 days they gave me) and then another week or two before I got the actual card. But still, it was my first 0% APR card coming out of debt and I appreciated the break it gave me!
