Post subject: Discover Card Phone Offers

My wife has a discover card. They are by far the worst when it comes to regular phone calls with offers for her.

Does anyoe know of sure fire ways to stop or reduce such offers?



(I wish they'd call to offer me something!!! My wife and her perfect credit--------arrrghhh that punk!)

I don't know if there is a legal way since you are already doing business with them.

At least they hire English speaking telemarketers. They are sometimes fun to argue with to see what I can get out of them. They pretty much stick to the sales line even if it is obviously make no sense.

The damn repetition of the same offers is enough to make one batty tho.

And calls three nights in a row becasue she isn;t arond to tell them no is maddening.

if you have caller id, dont answer if it says "private"

better yet, tell them if you call me one more time, i am going to BT to AMEX and close this account
