Post subject: Any Direct Merchant Bank Cardholders ?

I realize now that they were bought by HSBC Does anyone know if they will be issuing new HSBC cards? And what about limit increases? They claim that they are not taking customers requests for a limit increase. whythe heck Not????. On HSBC website youc an request it, but not on DIrect Merchants website. I 've had the card since 99, started at 5k, now for the past 2 years been stuck at 12,500. rate 13 percent. Just paid off the 2k balance.

Don't know how things will progress with Direct Merchants going forward. Will be interesting to see. Hopefully there will be improvements.

I was under the impression that HSBC and DMB were pretty tight with limits, etc.
Does anyone know when this merger will be complete?
