Citibank has now dressed up their Professional card and added a reward program to it. Here are the important details:
• Earn 3% cash back on purchases for auto rentals, at restaurants, gas stations and certain office supply merchants.
• Earn 1% cash back on other purchases.
There is also a $500 cash back limit and the APR is 5.99% over prime.

I like the way Citi now has the short application for existing cardholders just like Amex does.

when i applied for my citi diamond, i had to call them after my instant approval, citi then offered me a second card, the citi professional card. i should recieve them this week. my instant approval was was 04/02/06. they should be here anyday. i was thinking of only keeping the professional card, and bringing the CL over to that card, instead of having 2 cards. is there any benifit of having 2 cards from the same issuer? that will put at 6 credit cards. is that bad on ones credit report? i have AMEX blue, chevron gas cad, chase, a visa through my credit union (joint account), then the 2 citi cards
