Post subject: interesting new Citi Dividend 5% cashback offer

I got in the mail that though 5/31/06 your Citi Dividend 5% cashback will also apply to home furnishings and home improvement. ($300 limit still applies though). It says to call a number with the invitation number they sent me, or activate through a website.

Till 05/31/06 is a very short time

Would you do a 0.00% BT till 05/31/06

(even if you could do $50,000)

I have had the Citi AT&T Universal “Cash Rewards” card for some time. It is the same 5% on Gas/Groceries with a $300 limit. I called them to ask why a limit, and they said they could not raise the limit, but did immedialtely offer me another free Citi “Dividends” card that has exactly the same rules. I accepted and now I just change cards during the year whenever I get near the $300 mark. I usually manage $400-$500 a year FROM them (and, of course, no interest payments TO them).

Gotta love $.15 off of a gallon of $3.00 gasoline!

Mouse, where do you see anything about a balance transfer? Read it again. It refers to a 5% purchase rebate on home furnishings bought between now & 05-31-2006. Nothing wrong with that deal.
