Chase and Citi Cash Back Credit Cards

Post subject: chase and citi again
OK I have the chase and citi cash back cards and I am loving it, and I have duplicate cards for my wife. ( I also recently order the Amex Blue Cash to supplement). Now I am thinking I should get my wife to get a separate Chase and Citi account herself in her name, and get me duplicates. Then we would be eligible for the $300 max for both cards under both accounts? Would that work, or do they check that?

There's nothing to check--you're both entitled to your own separate credit cards!
