Capital One Air Miles Credit Card Review

Post subject: Capital One Mileage Card
I wanted to share my Capital One experiences with all of you. We have their mileage card, had it for years. The conditions were that you can get on mile for every dollar you spent, up to $10k/month. You then can purchase an airline ticket and get reimbursed with the formula equivalent to an 1 1/4% rebate. So, for instance, you used to have to spend $50,000 to get 500 miles and could purchase a $625-ticket with these miles. They have now changed it (and never cared to inform us) to where you need to spend much more to get the same ticket. And it is now on a sliding scale. In addition, they are very uncooperative and don't allow you credit line increases. Possibly, they don't like us because we are so called "dead beats", we pay our card off every month. Think twice before getting this card.

Cap 1 and their CL increases (or lack there of ) is legendary around here.
Certainly, as far as prime cards go, I am sure you could find a better deal than the Cap 1 Mileage card.
That being said, the agreements on any card say they can change the rewards/ card benefits at any time. Cap 1 isn't the only CC comp that has done this to the chagrin of many a poster here.
