Credit Tips: American Express Offer For Double Credit Card Points

Post subject: AMEX double points offer

I received an “exclusive invitation” in the mail to earn double points on my AMEX Blue from April through September 30, 2006. Not sure whether it makes sense b/c there is a $10 fee to do so. I rarely use this card, opting to max out the rewards on my Citi and Chase, though it does bring the reward rate up to 2% for the limited amount of time. Did anybody else get this offer and are you going to do it?
