Post subject: Question For Amex Holders

I think mouse you should answer this one most accurate since you LOVE AMEX do you have any of this amex card IN LA, Chicago, and NY and if you do dont you agree they are the only amex cards that start that high with credit limits I mean you cant even compare it to blue delta or hilton for someone with medium to good they will start you with 5.000-10.000 and for someone with 750 score and abowe 25.000 to 37.000 now if you ask me that is the highest I have seen and keep in mind that is Cold apply and no amex relationship what so ever when I say highest I have seen I mean to start you off with so does any one have this cards and what are the limits

Limits are tricky. It all depends on your income and credit score and whether you already have cards with high limits. When I applied for amex blue, the limit I got was $2000, so I called them because I thought there must have been a mistake because it was way too little. So they made it $25,000 upon activation. So if you don't like the limit, simply call them before you activate the card and tell them that it's too small and you won't be interested in that card unless they match the limit of your other high limit card--given you have a high credit score and income.
