Credit Tips: What is the Difference Between Credit Card Due Date and Statement Date?

I currently have $0 balance on my citi card.. My due date was Jan 9, The Next Statment Date is 1/19..

My question is if I buy anything between 1/9 and 1/18 will I be charged an interset rate?

As long as you have a credit card with a grace period , you wont be charged interest. Check your credit card Terms of Agreement, or call the number on the back of your card and ask.
