Posting Time for Online Credit Card Payments

Post subject: Credit card payment question
Whats up guys just wanted to post a message about my Orchard Bank MasterCard. I've had the card for about 7 months, as of last summer, and I just recently made an online "rush" payment, but my available money/funds has not been updated and the payment posted on Thursday. I called the company and they said they had to get the release of the funds first before updating my account with the available money/credit, and that it could take up to 14 days. What I don't understand is ever since having the card and doing rush payment since last summer, every time I paid online my balance/available credit has been updated in 2 or 3 days, now it's been about 5 with them saying up to 14 days, never heard this before until this month. Does anyone know how this works and how long it could take? Anyway, wasn't sure if calling the card company and threatening to cancel my account would speed up the process? thanks.

I dont have this particular card but my other accounts, if I do an online payment from the cc website, it posts in a day or 2. It shouldnt take longer than that. Are we talking about this causing a late payment?

They are ASSUMING the payment "MAY" bounce in 14 days
All my payments post the same day...48--72 MAX
They don't have PRIME RULES because they are SUB-PRIME
