Credit Tips: Nordstrom Visa Credit Card Review

Post subject: Nordstrom Visa upgrade

Just had my most exciting credit card experience. Have had the Nordstrom store card for a little over 2 yrs, it carried a CL of 1000. Had the limited increased to $2000 in September on my request. Called last night and asked about an upgrade to Platinum Visa, was told they might need to pull a report, I gave the o.k. The rep put me on hold and told me I was approved for Visa, and they did in fact pull my report. Be advised that it doesnt appear a CLI automatically comes with Visa. I asked about the CL and was told it was $2000, but if I wanted an increase he could give up my limit to $10,000. So when you ask for an upgrade make sure you ask for a CLI as well or you might not be offered one.

Nordstroms is highly underrated. I have their VISA Signature card and I can’t speak highly enough of their customer service.
