New Credit Cards That Have Come Out

Post subject: New credit cards coming out this year?
I currently hold the Citi Dividend Platinum Select card, as well as the Chase Cash Plus Rewards card. Both of them are 5% cash back on gas stations, grocery stores, and drug stores, and 1% on everything else.
These 2 cards are the best I have ever had, and I was wondering if you guys knew of any credit cards that will be released in the new year that will beat this rebate structure? I use my credit cards only because they pay me back, so the more I can get back, the better off I am. I constantly search these forums to look for the new cards coming out, but haven't heard much. Can you guys give any insight or help me out?

The truth of the matter is that nothing lasts forever.
Over the past few years I have seen some excellent cashback programs discontinued and others rise up to take their place. The credit card companies hope that people will get hooked on the rebates and carry a balance. Since these cards usually carry a high APR, this is madness and you lose much more than you gain. However a ton of uninformed consumers do exactly that. Of course those of us who know how to use credit pay off their balances in full every month on reward cards.
When the credit card companies decide that they're losing more than they're gaining they will shut down or drastically modify their programs. Don't believe me? Talk to me in a year about existing cashback and other rewards programs that are in place.
