If you already have cards with a bank, are they more likely to approve you for more?
I have the Shell gas card, and the Home Depot card, both through Citi.
My score through Ex is only 623. I know that they don’t go only by scores though. All of my open cards have been in good standing since I got them.
I’m thinking that since I just got denied (tis the story of my life) for a Providian card, that I won’t even be able to get a student card through Citi.

In my experience, yes. But I only had student cards with them when I applied for more student cards. I had 3 at a point of time.

I currently have 3 CITI bank cards and I’ve never been put down yet. It all depends on the bank.

No guarantees if you have new negatives or high utilizations since the last time you applied. Also, some cards wont allow for you to apply if you have been approved recently.
