Chase OnlineSM offers several new online services, including the ability to:
* Schedule repeating credit card payments
* Make credit card payments from up to three different bank accounts
Please note the following changes to the payment posting policy on Chase OnlineSM: Payments made prior to 4PM EST will be credited the same day. Payments made after 4PM EST will be credited the next day at no charge. If it is after 4PM and you need your payment to be credited the same day, you can do so for a fee.

Better than the 1 pm cut-off like other CC companies.

Yea, I do prefer that policy. Other companies won’t let you credit the payment after a certain time, no matter what. If you’re on the deadline, I rather pay a fee and have it credited on the same day, than to be late. In which case you still have to pay a fee for being late and you end up having a bad mark on your credit report.

Post subject: the fee
two things:
1) They don’t say what the fee is, and
2) One day late may trigger a late fee, but it’s almost never reported to the CRAs unless you’re seriously late.
