Post subject: Buying a car with a credit card?
Is there anything in cc agreements against doing a balance transfer from a car loan?
I see in of my cc agreements, they say u can transfer your high interest rate Credit cards to XYZ, but they dont stipulate whether u can use car loans also.
Can someone please advise.

Apparently not. I aksed Chase Visa, Discover and Capital One MasterCard that exact question (just to be sure I was not violating the card agreements) and they all told me some version of "How you use the balance transfer checks we sent you is up to you." They could only handle direct transfers for other credit cards but the bottom line is that I used a balance transfer check to buy a Ford F-350 for 0% and then transferred that 0% loan to another credit card at 0% a month before it ran out. Now I have another 15 months of 0% and figure I'll likely have another offer for a similar rate/balance transfer before that runs out.
