Post subject: What’s the best card for Restaurant rewards?
Lots of places advertise good deals on gas and supermarkets like 5% back (I already have a Divident Platinum Select), but who offers the best reward on restaurants? Right now I get a 3% rebate (issued once a year) on restaraunts and office supplies through my Bank One/Chase business card, but is there anything else comparable or better than this? I wouldnt mind trading in the business card for a personal card (does it matter since I use the business card mostly for personal?) or atleast see what else is out there.

discover has a 5% card for restaurants. I have the one for home improvements since we use that more often.

I just started using my Discover Card, and yes they have a 5% rebate for restaurants, but I think it only good for charges thru 11/30

The 5% thru 11/30 is on the regular Discover card. They also have a 5% all the time Restaurant card. Only problem with it, is the rebate is limited to only spending $1500 per year. After that the rebate drops. It’s the tiered system like all Discover Cards it’s just upside down. Same as the new Gas Card 5%, and the Home Improvement card 5%.
