Post subject: Cards for Average Credit Scores
Credit scores are only one of many factors that credit card issurers consider in granting credit. More important factors are stated income and length of your credit history. A student with only two years of credit history can have a score over 700 whereas a person like myself with over 30 years of credit history, no negatives on the credit reports, having 14 active cards with over $250,000 in combined limits can have a score of less than 700. I just got approved for my new Chase card (my fourth) with 12K limit this week.
