Expired Credit Card Tips

Post subject: Best Way to Destroy Expired Credit Card?
I was just curious of what others do to destroy there expired card after they activate the new one. I have a paper shredder, but it probably would't be able to shred a card. Do most just cut it up in small pieces with scissors, before discarding it?

I have a shredder that has a card shredder. I think, if you don't have one, either get one (it does work... cross cut) or cross cut the thing into a bazillion pieces. Not just a cut or

I cut top to bottom or bottom to top like mabe 10-20 rows and then cut each row in like 10-20 pieces...SO IT IS IN THE TRASH IN LIKE 100-200 PIECES (or more)
SHREDDER SHOULD ALSO WORK BUT IT IS NOT AS FUN

I throw it in the trash, like I do with all other worthless things.
Why waste time on a expired card that can't be used anyway? (Even if somehow it could be used, you'd still be protected by law against unauthorized use.) Identity theft? Who needs an actual card for identity theft--and what good is an expired one anyway?

SORRY...I'm not gonna' give anybody my full account number...the expire date...and my full name!!!!!!!
(Not that they can't put the card back together "IF" they really wanted to)
