Post subject: “Citibank Rocks!!”
When I got my Citibank dividends card at the end of April this year, it didn’t say anything about a respond by date for my 0% balance transfers. But recently, whenever I go online to transfar a balance, it says I don’t have any offers available. I called about this a while ago (at night, unfortunately, I’m usually busy during the day). The chick couldn’t tell me why this happened and recommended calling during the day to find out.
Get this, she kept saying, “maybe they’ll give you another offer.” I’m like, I’m not really asking for another one here. I’m just wondering why the offer I had on my account was taken away with no notification whatsoever! UGH!
Anyone know anything about this? Does it have a date on there somewhere, that maybe I just missed? I’m pretty sure I’ve read every darn piece of information that has ever come on this account!!
EDIT 11/11/05: I thought I might change the title to a more positive one from the previous “ugh… Citibank and their games…” haha

I havent had any problems with citi. How long has it been since you applied? You could always apply for another card for a bt and just combine the 2 cards in another year when you are done with the bt.
It is usually best to apply for the bt when you apply for the card, I think.

I’ve done several BT’s already and would like to continue doing so as more credit becomes available.

I did see on the terms that the BT offer was only good for 12 months. It’s right in the agreement. I wonder if yours was only good for 6 months.
I don’t have a Citi card but I did get a pre-approved offer and it stated it there in the paperwork.

I’m still getting a 0% APR. They just not letting me transfer any new balances.

Apparently, they legally have to tell you how long you will get your 0% APR. They do not legally have to tell you how long you can make such transfers, so in their case, they chose to omit that information.
