My scores just lowered some since my balances increased recently. I’m looking for a card to replace my cap1 card. Two of the scores are in the 650’s and the other one is at 672. Being able to balance transfer is important also. If i had a card that reported the actual credit limit i would most likely be close to 700’s. Dont think i am in the amex, chase, mbna etc range but wanted something that is a step up from what i have.

Not quite. If you have a long credit history aka a “thick file”, MBNA and Chase have been known to approve around the 650-670 range.

I was approved by Citi with a score in the mid 600’s about five or six years ago. Decent limit and terms. I’m not sure if they still use the same criteria for approvals, but I would think it’s worth a try.
