Post subject: Credit Card Consolidation on Credit Report

I hear that going for credit card consolidation (which is being advertised a lot lately) impacts your credit in a negative way because it goes on your report "NOT AS ORIGINALLY AGREED UPON". Has anyone had this experience?

Why do I have 8 inquries on my Equifax report? I have sent out letters {certified} to your co. and I have not recived a responce from you yet. I know by law you have 30 day to comtact me. Here are the dates.
08/21/01
12/12/01
12/20/01
02/25/02
03/25/02
05/23/02
10/19/01
02/25/02
Can you please respond back. It shows on my report
AR-Household Bank. I do have a Ikea account financed by Household,but I do not know why this appears on my report having 8 inquries. Please respond back to my concerns.
