Best Credit Card for Gas Purchases

What is the best card strictly for gas? It would be best if the reward was automatically added to my statement each month, rather than waiting to get up to a certain amount for them to cut you a check.

I was about to go with the AAA Visa but then I saw that they were cutting the 5% back to 2%. The ChasePerfectCard seems like the best at 3% anywhere. I did apply for a ShellMasterCard which gives 5% to all Shell stations. Are there any 5% rewards at any station?

I should also say that interest rate doesn't matter to me as I always pay in full each month and have credit scor of 755

Yes, pays 5% on gas, as well as on supermarket and drugstore purchases, 1% on everything else. It pays when you collect $50 in rewards, not monthly though.

Yes, the Shell card is a good one, but it only offers rebates at Shell stations, and the rebates must be used for Shell gas. The Platinum Select card can be used for ANY brand of gas and offers a cash rebate. Better and broader deal.
