Post subject: Telemarketing Credit Card Offer

Please help me, I had a call from federal telemarking, about a credit card, he sais it was ayear ago I put in for the card with my cheching account,but ayear ago it was platinum 2000" so I told him they already have 199.00 dollars of my money, he "said he didn't know anything about no "platinum 2000. well he swore at me and say's he was going in my account, and he is going to show me he will get my money., he says he don't need no check number from me, said they got checks. But tomorrow which is may 22,2000 I have to go in the bank an alert...

Thanks so much for you recent feedback! We are not familiar with this telemarketing firm, but there are several such telemarketing scams that are in existence. My advice....contact your bank to see what assistance they can offer (it sounds like you are planning on doing this). Also, consider legal assistance, your state's Attorney General's office and/or consumer protection agency, the Better Business Bureau, etc.

Thanks. I contacted my bank this morning, and they put alerts through my acct.and i have contacted the calif. state attorney general.
