Hi CardRatings.org
We are working on a loan and had credit pulled.
It showed that we had a Universal Bank Card Mastercard
with an outstanding balance. We are wondering if
you've heard of them and if you have contact info ie:
phone or e-mail. Or a website to look at. I am
sending a letter snail mail, but I have no way of
knowing of receipt and action.
You have an outstanding site, just couldn't find this
card. Are they real or not? Maybe I should give you
the address to help match them up. PO Box 44167
Jacksonville, FL 32231 Thanks for your help!

John,
Thanks for your recent inquiry! I am 99.9% sure that the card you are referring to is the AT&T Universal Card (http://www.universalcard.com). It is indeed a legit card and is featured in our "Balance Transfers" section. Strange that it has shown up on your report, though. Unfortunately, such mistakes are fairly common (another reason that it is good to check your report on a periodic basis).
You can call their customer service dept. at 1-800-423-4343.
Hope this helps!
Best Regards,
