Post subject: How Many Credit Cards to Apply for at Once

Folks at CFCCT,
I was curious if it is a good idea to fill out multiple credit card
applications and hope perhaps a couple will accept my application. I'm
building back up my good credit so I may not be exactly what they are looking
for so hence my question.

Thanks for your recent inquiry! I would suggest that you only apply for one card at a time. The reason for this is that you want to limit the number of inquiries on your credit report as much as possible. Multiple inquiries can adversely effect your credit rating.
