Hi: My name is Tina. I am preparing a report for my college economics
class, which compares the interest rates for credit cards from 1997 to the
current date. Your Low Rate Report has been a perfect source for the current
information. Do you keep any archives of this same report from 1997? I am
specifically looking for interest rate information from July/August 1997.

Please let me know if you can provide this information to me. I would be
happy to pay any fees. Thank you for your assistance.

Tina,

Thanks for your post! Unfortunately, we do not have rate info. dating that far
back. We were founded in Aug. of '98. You can probably find the info. that
you are looking for, though, by visiting the Federal Reserve Board's
website...

They conduct a yearly survey of credit cards, including rate info.
