I was checking on credit card perks this evening and ran across the GM Card
w/ 5% rebate. Then using Hotbot.com 'credit card perks' found you.
You stated the GM Card has a 5% rebate with a $500 yearly limit. On the
GMcard.com site it stated 5% rebate on purchases of over $500 with "no annual
limit" - there is however a limit per vehicle.
This is just FYI
Thanx for starting this site I am sure it will be very helpful to the public.
Please inform me if I am correct - or if I mis understood the GM Card sites
info.

Bill,
Thank you so much for your feedback! You are absolutely right...GM changed the terms of this program apparently within the last week or two...because we updated our info. regarding this card earlier this month! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We will update our site description.
You can, however, earn the 5% rebate on any purchases (regardless of the dollar amount). Additionaly, GM is limiting the amount of rebate earnings that can be applied to specific vehicles (see their "Redemption Allowances" page for more info.)...
http://www.gmcard.com/generic/a_indexredemption.html
One more note...you can now use rebate earnings for non-vehicle redemptions (i.e. travel, enterntainment, etc.). All in all, a great card!
Hope this helps...
