Sirs/Madams:
I recently received a pre-approved credit card offer in the mail from First Liberty Financial, and after carefully reading all of the fine print, I decided to apply for it. I did not opt for the express processing, but my check for $49 to the bank cleared on November 23, 2000. Shouldn't I have received the card by now? Umfortunately, I misplaced the copy I made of the application, and cannot find the bank listed anywhere, nor is there an 800 phone listing for them. I am starting to fear that it was a scam. Has anybody heard of this bank, and if so, where are they located, or what is their phone number? I would greatly appreciate any feedback.

Hi, anonymous,
That question has come up before on this board. If you go to the main message board page (click on "go to top") and then click on the "search" link, type in "first liberty financial", and you will see all the previous discussion on here. It should be very enlightening. Next time, check here first. There is a lot of experience here, and no one is going to make fun of you.
Also, you can pick out a name you like, and just don't put your email address in the top of your post, when you post on here, and you will still be anonymous, but you will have a recognizable "identity" on the this board.
