My credit cards all charge a 2% fee on purchases made outside of the US. Are there cards which do not charge this fee?? Which ones??

Ted:

I know American Express doesn’t charge any fees for purchases outside of the United States. I went to Mexico a couple of months ago and used my AmEx the entire time I was there - no problem at all. Take care.

According to http://www.bankrate.com/brm/news/cc/20000403.asp?keyword=, it does. The fee might be hidden in the exchange rate, so you do not see it.

Aspire (http://www.compucredit.com/pdcts.html) says they do not charge those fees, that’s in addition to those issuers listed in the article.
