Thanks for your inquiry! Have you visited our “Student Credit”
section? It contains a comprehensive list of credit cards devoted entirely
to students. We have recently expanded this section and it contains a lot of
information. The web page address is:
http://www.cardratings.org/student.html
You should be able to find a card, even though you have no source of income
currrently.
Hope this helps!

Hello! Being a college student I am bombarded with credit card offers all over the campus. All have high interest rates and such. I have a Att Universal student card which was good for a start. My interest rate is about 3 percent lower than most cards in my class of credit users, (about 17.4% compaired to averages of 19 to 21 percent. Att has been a great company for the last three years and they have been very forgiving in my exceeding balances and such. But I see adds in the mail for me for gold cards, Now I would like to find a lower card (if that is possible) but the problem is the interest on these gold offers (capital one) is still higher than my current rate. I would like to find a card with a lower rate with the same good service as Att that I could balance transfer. (Short of reapplying for a gold version of ATT) Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks, Starving student

Thanks for your recent post to our board! I think you can beat this rate…especially if you have used your card responsibly
for three years. It will be very hard for you to qualify for a gold card if you have no income, though. Did you check out our student credit section? The web address is…

Hope this helps!
