I recently moved to a new apartment. They have a new Sony card out, and since I'm prone to buying eletronic junk I just have to get it. However, I am wondering if this new address will present a problem? I've only been in this new address about a month, and my concern is that when I submit an application, they will see that my new address does not match the current one on my credit file. Does anyone know if this will be a problem, and the best way to handle it?

In regards to your new address, do not worry, will need to be verified.. But eventually if you qualify, you will recieve you card.. They can verify it by using fast data, your credit reports,ect.. If they can not verify it using those means.. they will ask for a Utility bill, Paycheck ect..

So the credit card company (Sony Mastercard in this case) will just verify my new address when I apply for this card?

Yes, Last resort is they will send you a letter requesting additional information.. But they should be able to verify without doing that..
