As a TD Waterhouse customer, I got a notice in mail that the Waterhouse 1% rebate on credit card purchases will be a rebate towards free trades NOT cash.

Jerry,
Talked to a Waterhouse rep. and was informed that effective March 31st, the cash rebate feature will be discontinued (as you stated). They will replace the cash rebate program with a “free trade program”. For every $2,000 in purchases, cardholders will get a free trade. The card features a 2.9% intro rate for 6 months. We will update our listing soon to reflect these changes. Thanks again!
Best Regards,
