Universal Bank, NA came up on my credit report. I never signed any agreement to be on the account. Can you tell me what I could do to have my name removed?

Call Universal Bank immediately and tell them you did not request an account from them. There might be fraud going on.

You may also want to dispute this account on your credit report. Depending on which bureau this account is being reported, you may be able to file your dispute right online.

Be sure to check your reports with all three credit bureaus. An individual dispute will need to be filed with each one who is incorrectly reporting this account.
