Post subject: Pulaski Bank Credit Card Consumer Review

I know Pulaski is a sponser of this site. I also
noticed the lack of any talk of Pulaski in the section
“Card Holders Reviews” bad or good. Does anybody
have experiecne with Pulaski? I have been considering
switching to the for some time. The only thing is there
small clause on being able to sell off thier card accounts
to other banks and the card holder being forced into
the new terms of the new bank. Have the ever done this?
Other wise it seems to be a good deal for a card.
Also the seem to adjust thier rates from time to time
even though the are a “fixed” rate. I have seen 3
different rates in the past 4 years. 9.75-7.99(current).
Any input would be appreciated.

Ken,

There have been other posts about Pulaski in the past (use the search feature). Although Pulaski is one of our sponsors, I will try to speak objectively about them. They are located in our hometown of Little Rock, AR, and have a great reputation locally. Their card rates have consistently been among the lowest in the country for years. They only catch is that you have to have excellent credit to qualify. I have never heard anyone complain about them selling their card portfolio (though as you mention they reserve the right to do so). They take great pride in their credit cards.

By the way, this Monday the reduced the rate on their cards again to 6.99%! There is no such thing as a fixed rate card. You will be hard pressed to beat 6.99% (if you do, let me know!).
