i am having trouble with one of my credit cards to whit: I have for 5 months been struggling with paying down overlimit fees---I thought i finally had it straightened out only to find out that when requesting what amount that it would take to get the card underlimit and back to regular pay schedule that as soon as two days after paying a timely payment plus overlimit amount and overlimit fees plus additional amount i would immediately be charged finance charge thus putting me back in overlimit. I cannot seem to get this matter resolved whatever i do---any suggestions.

If you can't pay it off, calculate your finance charge (based on the average daily balance on your bill, add it into you payment, then add some more on just to be safe.

What company is this?

There are a couple of things that you can do... If you are having financial difficulty and are only able to pay the minimum payments.. You are never going to get it under control.. The first step is to call the Credit Card Company and ask for assistance.. Depending on what kind of shape that you are in.. They can do a couple of things for you.. Recommend that you go to CCCS.. Or you can work in house.. Also ask if they can stop the overlimit fees, ect.. This will close you account.. but being over the limit , you can not use it anyway.. If you do not qualify for CCCS, work with the credit card company on a reduced payment plan.. I was on a Task force from May to the end of July, collecting accounts that were 180 days past due and that at the end of the month were going to be charged off.. I was able to prevent a lot of people from charging off by putting them on a reduced interest, no fees, ect to help.. I hope that this helps, and that you will be under a little less stress, but the main thing is to contact your creditors, before they start contacting you.. Take care
