Am constantly on international road, have excellent credit; only problem is effectively arranging balance transfers by phone from foreign countries, pending arrival back home and sitting down with the month’s finacial paperwork in front of me. Have a couple of cards allowing fee-free balance transfers AND no finance charge if balance is paid in full within the standard grace period, as for purchases. In other words, balance transfer is treated like a purchase. Anybody out there know of cards offering the above, plus no annual fee, and collect international calling? (Also filing application on-line). APR is immaterial.
Both Chase and First USA do have this kind of card, but I want to line up at least one other because issuers can always scrap any deal at any time.

with chase you have to have there Univeral card . and to make the transfer with either card you have to ask them to make the transfer at the purchase rate not the balance transfer rate. unless you plan to pay of your transfer in full after the grace period this is not a good strategy. David
