I currently have a 9.9% Fixed APR card, but I have heard of cards available as low as 7.9%. My search through the internet has yielded me no success, can you make any suggestions?

I know Bank of America has an 8.9% fixed APR card, but I think it's offered by invitation only. I have not heard of any 7.9% fixed cards.

Bank of america's 8.9% A.P.R. is good on balance transfer only. This rate lasts until the balance is paid-off.Fleet,and providian used to offer the 7.9% cards, but are no longer availiable to anyone. But i have read some posts that a few people that has these 2 cards are still carrying the 7.9% rate, just that new applicants will get nothin better then 9.9% fixed rate.Fleet has went up to 12% on it's cards recently.

The lowest rate I know of is from Pulaski Bank. A non-teaser rate of 7.99% APR.

This card is harder then ***** to get!You need excellent credit, and a very low debt to income ratio to qualify for this damn card! This bank is very, very picky who they will approve for credit!Take my word for it!

I went there and started the app to see what they did - they wanted me to mail proof of income (check stubb or tax return). It was late at night, I cleared the app but I may try it later to see what happens.

Do you know if they check all 3 CRA's or just 1?

I would say only 1,it wouldn't make sense getting more then 1 inquirie. If they did check all three, that's 3 inquiries instead of 1.That would be too many inquiries for 1 credit card application.Yes they do want proof of income, this is the only credit card company that i know of to date that requires proof of income,no other company does that.If you would qualify for this account, watch them like a hawk! They are known to sale your credit card account to another credit card company. If this happens in the future, and you try to get another account off of them, forget it you will automaticually be declined for a new one.I have no idea what factors are used for selling the account. The only one that i can think of is if the account is not turning up a profit, can't say for sure though.
