Post subject: Kmart Mastercard Credit Card Review

Hello There,
I just wanted to let you guys know that I had an account with them for about 6 years now and I recently apply for the new Kmart Mastercard that they offer at bluelight.com well I apply for it online and it saids they offer instant approval well it came back telling me that I will receive a letter within 7-10 days...... I decided to give them a call the next few days.... first of all I get different answers from different reps..... one rep told me that they got the application one told me no nothing on file for you and one said yeah you've been approve for the credit card but don't know what the credit line is.... I told the last rep that I had an account with you almost 6 years ago and I kept it in good standing with no late payment or over limits.... well she then tells me that they don't look at the existing account for approving the new card for me.... they look at the whole credit report and decide from there..... a few more days past I call and talk to another rep and the rep told me that I was not approve for the card but they are going to counter offer me another card with a credit line of $500-1000 I told them I had an account with you now for 6 years and I have a good credit line with you... the rep saids you just have to wait for the letter to arrive and then give us a call..... over the weekend I apply with another credit card issuer name Juniper Bank and they approve me instantly with a Platnium Mastercard with a high line of credit! I strongly suggest you try this new bank if you have excellent to good credit..... good luck to you all...

Hello There,
Just wanted to let you guys know that Capital One came through with a kmart credit card for me with a low limit and they told me that the card actually has 2 separte line to charge on one for kmart purchase only and one for mastercard purchase only and they will only raise the credit line assign once the account is open for 1 full year.... they just approve the card today.... so just wanted to let you guys know that..... any of you apply with Juniper they seem to be really good and excellent customer service I have the card for almost close to a month now.... good luck to you all.......
