I want to pay my rent with my credit card to gain miles. anyone know of a service that will write checks for you against a card?? thanks.

With several of my cards I can request convenience checks which are regarded as purchases. You may have that option with your cards as well.

Can you request those checks at any time, or is this a limited time promo?
Those are regarded completely as purchases? (do you have grace period on those checks?)
And finally, what are those cards (and issuers)?

I can request those checks anytime from Citbank and it is considered a purchase, I have never use them though. I also had this with Associates as well, but never used them either, I closed Associates their interest was too high.
