How important is a credit report. My wife and I have just recently tried to obtain our first card, and were denied. Amazing though considering our income, and how easy it was to obtain a new car a month ago. Neither of us have had any credit problems that we can think of in the past years. What could be on this report, to cause them to deny our request for a credit card? HELP!

What were the reasons for your denial?? It should have stated that in the denial letter and you are entitled to a free report from whomever they pulled from.
You may want to get a copy of all 3 to see if there is anything on them. But the denial reasons should give you a clue.
