The GetSmart ad or link appears to be “fishy” - it clearly says its a Platinum Visa card at a rate of 9.9%. However when you click on the link it describes four different cards with different interest rates. However the application form doesn’t identify which of these four cards if being applied for. When I applied they contacted my and said I got a card at 16.9%!!

What’s going on here? This seems to defeat the whole purpose of a site named “creditcardfreedom”. Seems like its the type of nonsense one is trying to avoid by going to this site - maybe it should appear on a site called creditcardscam.com.

Edgar,

Only those with very good credit qualifications will be accepted for the top rated / best APR offered. Those with less-than-perfect credit will be considered for one of several other credit cards with less-attractive rates.
