I just went thorugh the application process for Nextcard. No where in the online application process was I able to view the Account Agreement or Disclosure Statement. I now have the agreement via a email from Next Card. Please change your information, the APR is determined by adding 1.19% to the Prime Rate (as published by a "national circulated Newpaper such as the WSJ), NEVER TO BE LOWER THAN 9.99%.

This is pretty deceptive advertising by NextCard, and this site is compounding this by posting a "Fixed" APR rate for the card.

Alot of people have complained about this but I don't see anything deceptive about what they're doing. If you read the terms and conditions before applying, you will see that they offer several cards at different APRs. They make it clear that not everyone is going to get the 9.9 fixed rate. I think they could improve their website by allowing applicants to reject the offer. It would save alot of complaining. If you are not happy with the terms, you can always cancel the card when you receive it.
