I would like to change credit card companies - I have a balance and am looking for a low rate for transfer balances with fixed rate there after. I get lots of card offers in the mail, but none look good to me when you read the fine print. Suggestions?

Hi Dianne,
I don't know much about Visa/Mastercard credit card companies (haven't had one in years) but American Express Blue is offering 0% interest for purchases for 6 months, a fixed 10.99, 12.99 or 14.99% rate thereafter, and a balance transfer offer of 7.9%. Discover Card is offering 6 months interest free for purchases, a fixed 12.99 interest rate, and a balance transfer of 7.9% also. I don't know if the balance transfers are set until the balance is paid off or if they are a special introductory offer. Also, check out www.creditcardfreedom.com homepage and click on lower rates or introductory offers. This should give you an idea on the hottest deals as of right now. Best of luck.
